There was a war. No one remembers any more between whom, or why. The kingdom that started it is on no map, and neither is the one that lost it.
Aldana Vela is all that is left of it.
She came home and there was no home. No village, no banner, no one to say her name. Only a field of ash and a dagger she had not let go of in three days.
She learned to survive alone. To fight up close with the dagger and from afar with the bow. To sleep with one eye open. To wait for no one.
Mara found her on a road that led nowhere. She did not promise her a homeland. She offered her something rarer: people who would not let her die alone.
She fights with the rage of someone with nowhere to go back to. And when one of her own falls, that rage shows.
Skills
If she leads, allies of the Flock and the Elyri gain 10% to 30% Attack and 4% to 20% critical chance, depending on her Presence level.
A dagger Strike that gains damage with each level, up to 12% extra. At its peak it rolls a d20: on 5 or more it opens a Sore on the rival, 2 turns unable to heal.
An arrow shot with 10% extra damage, rising to 50%. From level 3, Aldana gains Attack for 2 turns. At its peak, if it is critical, she covers herself with 25% shield.
Every time an ally of the Flock falls, Aldana gains 10% to 50% Bloodlust and her next attack deals 50% more damage.
I asked her where she was from. She took a long time to answer. In the end she said from the Flock, and that there was no other place.
